NCAAF Week 8 DFS Tourney Lineup
Here is our DraftKings college football tournament lineup for Week 8. We have one $5 entry on the noon–3:30 p.m. Eastern slate, using the full $50,000 salary cap. Owner confirmed a loss: $5 entry, $0 winnings, −$5 net.
Our lineup
| Slot | Player | Team | Matchup | Salary |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QB | George MacIntyre | Tennessee | TENN @ SCAR | $4,800 |
| RB | Wayne Knight | UCLA | MSU @ UCLA | $8,600 |
| RB | J’Koby Williams | Texas Tech | TTU @ CINCY | $7,900 |
| WR | DJ Epps | West Virginia | WVU @ TCU | $5,600 |
| WR | Jackson Harris | LSU | LSU @ AUB | $5,800 |
| WR | Mike Matthews | Tennessee | TENN @ SCAR | $6,700 |
| FLEX | Jordan Lyle | Miami | PITT @ MIA | $4,200 |
| S-FLEX | Jaden Craig | TCU | WVU @ TCU | $6,400 |
How the lineup fits together
George MacIntyre and Mike Matthews give us a Tennessee quarterback–receiver pairing. Wayne Knight and J’Koby Williams occupy the two running back spots, with Jackson Harris adding LSU receiving exposure and Jordan Lyle filling FLEX.
Jaden Craig is our Superflex quarterback. We kept DJ Epps on the West Virginia side because we want exposure to both teams contributing in that high-total matchup. Craig is paired with an opposing receiver rather than one of his own TCU targets.
The risks we discussed
MacIntyre’s starting role needs a final pregame check. Lyle’s workload is the most speculative part of the build because Miami has other backs involved. Those concerns remain part of the record; this is the lineup selected for the $5 tournament, and the owner confirmed it lost on October 25.
