My read from last week
Seven was too many against Tennessee last week. Philadelphia kept finding ways to extend drives, and that is the concern I want to keep in the Titans evaluation.
Matchup analysis
New York now has verified evidence from Monday rather than a Week 1 placeholder: the Giants produced 182 yards, went 3-for-14 on third down and did not score a touchdown in a 28–6 loss. Jameis Winston is taking over for the injured Jaxson Dart. Tennessee stayed within one score of Philadelphia while averaging 5.7 yards per play, but the Eagles converted 11 of 18 third downs. The matchup now depends on whether Winston can create a functional passing game without forcing the Giants’ defense to carry an unsustainable workload.
