What carries into this matchup

Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos beat Jacksonville Jaguars 20–13 on September 20, 2026. The offense finished with 6.6 yards per play, 4-for-11 on third down, 2 touchdowns on 5 red-zone trips. Jaylen Waddle caught 8 passes for 138 yards on 10 targets. Box score · Scoring and play-by-play

My read from last week

Denver started badly and Bo Nix made mistakes, but the defense made plays and the offense found enough late. It looked like the Broncos team we know.

Matchup analysis

The Rams supplied the missing Monday evidence with 481 yards and eight yards per play in a 28–6 win over New York. Matthew Stafford threw four touchdowns, while Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 164 rushing yards. Denver’s late Week 2 response still matters, but this matchup now asks whether the Broncos can disrupt an offense that created explosive gains both through the air and on the ground.

Availability and news to watch
