My read from last week
Houston kept throwing away scoring opportunities. Indianapolis looked capable against Kansas City, and both teams impressed me at stages, but the Colts still cannot afford those mistakes.
Matchup analysis
Houston’s yardage was not the same as useful scoring output. Repeated failures inside the 20 and on fourth down are more relevant here than a blanket claim that the offense could not move at all. Indianapolis has a ground-game platform, but the previous game also raises questions about how much its defense will concede between the 20s.
Availability and news to watch
Nico Collins did not practice Wednesday with the hamstring injury that kept him out in Week 2. Indianapolis receiver Alec Pierce is listed out in the current event snapshot. Texans–Colts Week 3 injury report
