My read from last week
We forced an Arizona underdog angle because it had worked the week before. We also did not believe enough in what San Francisco showed against the Rams. The 49ers are real.
Matchup analysis
Arizona needs enough passing production to avoid repeatedly handing the ball back to Purdy. San Francisco’s finishing was excellent, but perfect red-zone conversion is not a weekly entitlement. The spread question is whether Arizona can generate sustained possessions; it is not enough to assume another large underdog must be value.
