One of my favorite bets of the slate
This is one of my favorite bets of the slate. It’s also one that could age very poorly.
The Colts went all in last year, but injuries derailed their season. Now that they’re healthy, I think we get a better look at what this team was supposed to be.
Baltimore, meanwhile, has a new coach and a new system. I like backing Indianapolis against a team working through that transition in Week 1.
Getting 3.5 is a big part of this bet. The Colts can lose by a field goal and still cover, and I love having that extra half-point.
The downside is obvious: Baltimore could simply roll Indianapolis. That’s the risk, but it isn’t how I expect this game to go. I’m expecting the Colts to keep it competitive.
