I’m betting on Mike McCarthy
This is a bet on Mike McCarthy. All he seems to do is take over teams and win games. He won plenty in Dallas, and now he has a veteran roster to work with in Pittsburgh.
The Falcons’ quarterback situation looks like a mess to me right now. In a game I expect to be close, I’m putting my trust in McCarthy and the Steelers.
That’s also why I moved the line to -2.5. I’m not expecting Pittsburgh to blow Atlanta out. A three-point Steelers win is what I’m looking for, and this number lets that cash instead of push.
The price is heavier at -154, but getting below that field-goal margin was important for this bet.
